corrugazione del terreno

landscaping
Hi folks, describing a new park area. I've found the term used in Italian articles about Peter Eisenmann as well, but I'll be darned if I can find it in English!
Here are two examples:

The gentle swell of the great curved plane of corrugated steel mimics the **undulations** of the landscape.

On an **undulating** surface, areas are seeded in different patterns with different parts, but the **undulations** are actually openings to a subterranean car park, or 'lungs for the body of car parking', as Moussavi puts it.

In this floating stadium plan, we proposed to build a park full of **undulations** using excavated earth

After each plaza comes a stone-clad overlook and then the meadow's curves and **undulations** down to the park boundary at Lyons Drive.

mound/small mound
visto che Peter Eisenman ha lavorato molto in Ohio, stato noto per i mound aborigeni, potresti usare questo termine.
Vedi, Columbus City Guide:
Highbanks Metro Park - Highbanks features two Native American burial mounds and scenic views of the Olentangy River, plus picnic areas and walking trails. Interpreters and listening devices for those with hearing impairments are available.Located West of Route 23, about four miles north of Worthington and 20 miles north of downtown Columbus.
Hoover Reservoir - a popular spot for boaters and fishermen, as well as for those who want to feed eager wildfowl. The reservoir and park operate under a cooperative agreement between the Columbus Division of Water and the Recreation and Parks Department. Located off Sunbury Road in Galena.
Olentangy Indian Caverns - these triple-level caves offer a glimpse of life during the time the Wyandot Indians inhabited Central Ohio. Located six miles north of I-270 off U.S. 23 the site also includes a campground, a Frontierland with gem mining and a museum with Indian artifacts and geological displays.

Sia la corrugazione che le caverne abitate sono un riferimento al passato aborigeno dell'Ohio.
I may be wrong, of course.

1 hr
a/the corrugation of the land
"corrugazione" - derives from the verb "corrugare" which means to wrinkle, corrugate, crease, frown, or knit (as in "to knit one's brow" = another way of saying to frown);
in this case if you use corrugation there can be no mistake!

2 hrs
"mogul" effect
Seeing as Mogul is almost exclusively related to snow, I would maybe use it in inverted commas!
Just an idea!

2 hrs
embankments
suggestion - can't see much about it all, but not so much time...but doesn't it mean the land is sort of banked up, etc., into big ridges?

a couple more suggs.:
corrugated landscaping; landscaped corrugations (massive landscaped corrugations if they're really big)
